Single Crystal Flake Nanodiamond

Nano-diamond is a new type of carbon nanomaterial. At present, nano-diamonds on the market are generally prepared by explosive detonation method. Weakness, hard agglomeration, uneven particle size and other shortcomings. There is a new type of nanodiamond-single crystal flake nanodiamond, the specific characterization results are as follows:

The morphology of nano-diamond is flake-like, with good dispersion, and it is a single crystal structure.

The crystallinity of flaky nanodiamonds is much stronger than that of detonation nanodiamonds.

The surface of single-crystal flaky nanodiamonds is rich in functional groups, such as hydroxyl-OH, which is conducive to compounding with other materials. In addition, flaky nanodiamonds can be made with other functional groups through surface modification technology.

Single-crystal flake nanodiamonds are available as suspension and dry powder, and the color is off-white. The nano-diamond has excellent dispersibility and is easily dispersed in water.

2. Dispersion and spraying effect in water-based epoxy resin
The flake-shaped nano-diamond is uniformly dispersed in epoxy resin after stirring and has stable dispersion for a long time, and the coating is transparent after spraying on the iron base material.

3. Dispersion stability in oleoresin
The flaky nano-diamonds can be uniformly dispersed in the oleoresin after being stirred and remain stably dispersed for a long time. It can be seen through optical microscope observation that the flaky nano-diamonds are uniformly dispersed in the whole system.

4. Dispersion stability in ink

The flake nanodiamonds can be uniformly dispersed into the ink and remain stable for a long time.

Application field

1. Transparent wear-resistant coating. Such as mobile phone screens, electronic displays and other fields.

2. Heavy corrosion-resistant coatings, extreme corrosion-resistant coatings, deep-sea anti-corrosion coatings

The coating thickness is about 60-80 microns, and the addition amount is less than 2% of the resin diluent (adjusted according to specific experiments), which can resist strong corrosion
The coating without flaky nano-diamond, which has been corroded under the same corrosion conditions, while the coating with 0.2% flaky nano-diamond added has no rust spots.
