The difference of HBN and CBN

Boron nitride, chemical molecular formula is BN, is a crystal composed of nitrogen atoms and boron atoms. It has four different variants: Hexagonal boron nitride (H-BN), diamond-square boron nitride (R-BN), and Cube boron nitride (C-BN) and boron nitride of fibrous zinc ore.


1. Hexagonal boron nitride

Cube boron nitride has black, amber, and surface metallic colors. The size of the particles is usually below 1mm. It has high thermal stability and chemical inertia. Therefore, it is often used as a material for making ultra -hard tools.
